Design and Technology Aims:

Technology is essentially a practical subject concerned with the utilization of skills and knowledge in order to find solutions to problems in order to satisfy needs. We aim to develop our pupils’ ability to solve practical problems, determining processes and outcomes for themselves. Pupils should be able to discuss their ideas, plans and progress and record them clearly.

Through a variety of creative and practical activities, pupils should be taught the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to engage in an iterative process of designing and making.
